Terra Memoria

“A shortage of magic crystals and the sudden awakening of very ancient robots propel six new friends into a thrilling investigation across Terra, an imaginative and cozy world blending 3D and pixel art.”

Developed over the past three years, this JRPG is greatly inspired by titles like Octopath and Breath of Fire, both in its aesthetic aspect and core gameplay.

During its development, I worked on various aspects of the game :

I designed certain props, environments, and characters in collaboration with the narrative designer and concept artist, while adhering to a visual style reminiscent of manga and Final Fantasy. This gave me the opportunity to design two of the main characters in the game, Opal the blacksmith and Meta, the shapeshifter.

I also modeled and textured game elements, following various guidelines: using mid to low poly, without normal maps or opacity maps, and adhering to a hand-painted rendering style for the textures.
I then handled the integration and creation of prefabs in Unity.

Finally, I took care of the overall UI aspect in collaboration with the game designer and developers. This involved designing and creating graphical elements like interface icons and collectibles.
